Have you ever thought…“There has to be more to life than this? What am I here for? No one understands!” Do you sometimes feel as though you are not noticed or appreciated for what you bring to the table? Does anxiety, fear, worry, thoughts of traumatic events or depression seem to hang around longer these days? Ever think…“I can’t handle this! I don’t know what I’m going to do! Does anyone even care about what I’m going through?” I care and I am here to help you!

I believe that everything we need is already in us. Given that belief, I create a safe, judgement-free zone that is full of acceptance, empathy, understanding and unconditional positive regard so you can access what is already in you. Since issues are multifaceted, I have a multifaceted approach to therapy and will utilize various techniques to give you an individualized therapeutic experience to help ease your pain. I will help you explore your thoughts, behaviors, strengths, core beliefs, challenges, and patterns so that you can tap into what you need to be healed and transformed. I will encourage you to use what is already in you to make choices that improve your well-being and develop your life in a way that minimizes your struggle and maximizes your existence. I have over twenty years of combined experience in the fields of education, human services, behavioral and mental health, foster care, disability awareness, and career development. I specialize in serving youth, young adults, couples, families, and individuals who struggle with anxiety, fear, worry, trauma, depression, anger, behavior management, learning disabilities and relationship issues. I teach strategies that are effective and can be use anytime, anyplace.

Life can be very difficult at times. There is no manual for living, but you can always create your own. It is always good to have someone to talk to, someone to process with, someone who will truly listen. If you find yourself thinking…“There has to be more to life than this? What am I here for? No one understands! I can’t handle this! I don’t know what I’m going to do! Does anyone even care about what I’m going through?” Remember, I care, and I am here to help you! I have lived in Maryland for almost twenty years and came to Maryland from Jersey City, NJ by way of Buffalo, NY.

In my spare time, I like to go fishing (which I do not do as often as I would like), boating (which I do even less than fishing), and hiking (which I seem to do less than boating and fishing combined – LOL). What I ACTUALLY DO in my spare time is sit by the water and soak up its power (give me a harbor, a lake, or any body of water will do), travel to new places with my husband, spend time with loved ones, watch HGTV and go on thrift store excursions.

I invite you to join me in a safe, judgement-free zone that is full of acceptance, empathy, understanding and unconditional positive regard. My purpose is to help you fulfill yours! There is no shame in seeking help.
