I am a firm believer that it is ALWAYS the right time to invest in your mental health!
I know that making the choice to seek therapy is a powerful step, and it’s one I deeply honor. Whether you’re here to manage anxiety, move through a difficult life transition, heal from past trauma, or find balance in the face of life’s demands, you don’t have to face it alone. With your lead, together, we’ll explore your goals, uplift your voice, and tap into the innate wisdom and resilience within you.
My goal is to create a warm, affirming environment where you can show up as your full self and we can work together to nurture your strengths, face life’s stressors, and navigate your journey toward healing and joy. I have a special passion for supporting adolescents and adults through experiences that are often underserved and misunderstood. These include managing anxiety and depression, healing from trauma, and coping with the stress of navigating professional and personal spaces; you know when life is lifin’!
I utilize a strength-based, solution-focused approach that is integrative, blending techniques that best serve your needs. I often draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you reframe negative thought patterns, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support you in aligning your actions with your values, and Narrative Therapy to rewrite your story in a way that honors your resilience while considering the ways that your lived experiences, identities, and values shape your mental health journey.
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in psychology from Stony Brook University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Hunter College in New York City. I have been in private practice for 5 years and have over 18 years of experience working with children, families, and community providers supporting families through life’s complexities.
I am a native New Yorker and now reside in Ann Arundel County. I love the state of Maryland. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being a mom, working out, traveling, and making new experiences. I also love to laugh.
So, whether you’re new to therapy or returning to your journey, I’m here to walk with you as we create a path toward healing that’s authentically yours.
