I am a Penn State University grad with a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts and am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy at Touro University Worldwide. My decision to pursue a career in mental health was driven by my desire to dismantle mental health stigmas in communities of color through compassion, education, and awareness.

Whether you are seeking relief from anxiety, wrestling the weight of depression, or simply desiring a safe and inclusive space to explore your emotions, I am here to help you navigate towards a more fulfilling and balanced life through a multicultural lens, unwavering support and evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy. When working with individuals, I focus on the stories created through the intersection of cultural, social, and gender identities.

As a first-generation Korean American, I am particularly drawn to helping first-generation gens work through the complexities of acculturative stressors such as intergenerational family trauma, language barriers, cultural identity, assimilation, racism, and discrimination. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and young adults thanks to my energetic, patient, positive nature however, I am equally enthusiastic about working with couples, families, and individuals of all different ages and walks of life! By taking into consideration the unique experiences, perspectives, and emotional needs of each individual, I am committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental, nurturing space where clients can safely explore and express their emotions, foster self-love, strengthen relationships, and lean into positive changes.

My goal as a clinical therapist in training is to create an affirming therapeutic environment for diverse and fluid identities. Together we will process through vulnerability, explore healthy coping skills, and set achievable goals for your path of healing and alignment! In my spare time, I love to travel, create art, dance, play the piano, spend quality time with my husband & Coco (our 8lb yorkie furbaby), and go to brunch with friends. I also love to watch sitcoms and reality TV shows… The Office & Friends are my favorites!
