I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with a PhD in Social Work. I have extensive experience in case and program management, working with diverse populations in the U.S. and internationally. I specialize in supporting minoritized individuals navigating workplace discrimination and microaggressions, helping them advocate for themselves and cope effectively.
I provide compassionate guidance to individuals and families facing life’s unexpected transitions, such as displacement due to natural disasters or political upheaval. Whether you’re dealing with major life changes
like job loss, divorce, blending families, or raising a neurodivergent child, I’m here to help. I also offer specialized care for aging-related issues, including retirement and legacy planning, as well as anxiety and depression.
My therapeutic approach incorporates various evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I provide individual and family counseling through in-person and teletherapy sessions, offering services in both English and Swahili. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey to healing and personal growth.
I also speak Swahili.
