Are you looking to gain the courage and strength to overcome barriers you are currently facing, while also developing a genuine connection with your therapist? If so, you are at the place! Many people struggle in silence and are not sure how to move forward. From feeling down and out, having issues with self-esteem, feelings of anxiousness or worried, dealing with family conflict, life transitions, adjustment, school related issues, and or social relationships; the struggles are real! But, I am here to help you navigate through those struggles in a non-judgmental way, while instilling hope, courage and inspiration.

While I work with children, adolescents, families, and adults, I have over 9 years in experience from the public school system; providing school-based therapy, running therapeutic groups, providing crisis intervention services, etc, and from the Department of Social Services in Child Welfare; providing preventative out of home services to children and their families. My child and adolescent experience spans from working with kiddos struggling with depression, anxiety, school related issues, family conflict, self-esteem, ADHD, mood disorders, oppositional defiant disorder and other behavioral issues.

I believe in building genuine relationships and empowering my clients in a non-judgmental way, instilling hope and courage through a strength-based approach. Prioritizing these connections with clients builds comfortability and allows for openness and getting the best of your mental health treatment.

I am exceedingly passionate about my work utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths Based Therapy, Client Centered Approach, Solution Focused, Family Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques in creative unique approaches. Helping you knock down barriers to a stress-free and positive vibe only lifestyle, my goal is to build a therapeutic relationship with you, ensuring you are not only comfortable in sharing your experiences and challenges, but to also ensure you are getting the best out of your mental health treatment.

Fun fact about me: when I’m not being a therapist, I enjoy watching tv, shopping, and baking.
