Keshaun is a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern in her second year at Touro University Worldwide. She has over three years of case manager experience working with clients who have severe and persistent mental illness. Keshaun believes in the person centered approach to therapy, which means a person is not defined by their problems or illness.
She believes every person has strengths and qualities that are positive no matter what they’ve been through. She will help you explore and process your emotions while challenging you to be the best version of yourself. Keshaun also uses creative techniques in therapy like journal prompts, flashcards, and workbooks to help you examine deeper aspects of yourself.
She believes “mental health is just as important as physical health” and wants to help all people, but especially brown and black communities to receive the healing they deserve.
In Keshaun’s spare time she enjoys being with family, brunch on Sundays, picnics with friends, and being a plant mom.
